Guy John is an LA-based artist whose music has accrued over 50K streams across the major platforms. As an indie producer and vocalist, he has synthesized a new sound within the Anti-Pop genre with his unorthodox instrumentation, layered sound design and sampling. His checkered influences—including his traditional American musical vocal training—arranged within experimental song constructions produce unpredictable and dynamic “genre blends.” 

In the content of his music, Guy’s focus is to edify the grueling side of mental health recovery and offer a relatable voice to those with similar experiences. His lyrics come from personal experience—covering fatal heartbreak, drug abuse and sex addictions—a person’s relationship to his impulsive or destructive impulses, and redemption or lack thereof. Guy’s songs dig to the darkest depths of the human condition, but with a biting sardonicism that prevents him from taking himself too seriously.
